I am so excited to share with you MORE of what Meuse Photo has to offer. Come read up on all the latest adventures I have been on!
Before I get to the senior team, I just wanted to say, hey! I am Brittney Meuse, chief photographer and storyteller of Meuse Photo. I love to travel, read, and of course take cute photos. Ever since I was in Middle School, I have been passionate about photography. I started out just wandering anywhere my family went on vacation taking photos of everything. And I mean EVERYTHING. You need a photo of a flower. I’ve got it. 12 different statues I liked from the Smithsonian in Washington D.C. I have them all. A photo of hand prints in the snow? I can print it out now. With my tiny pink point and shoot camera in hand, I fell in love with light, angles, composition, and seeing the world through my lens. Fast forward 15 or so years, and I get to do photography full time.
I started my first Senior Team five years ago when I lived in the DFW area. I wanted to give seniors the opportunity to make their senior year UNFORGETTABLE and document it along the way. To create a senior experience like no other. More than just taking photos one time, but to shoot with a group of seniors multiple times throughout their senior year.
My senior team becomes the face of Meuse Photo, appearing on my website, marketing materials, advertising, social media, etc. YOU become the face and voice of my brand. My team becomes a family. We hype each other up and create friendships you may not have made otherwise.
Well, exactly what it sounds like. We hang out throughout the year at different group shoots, your individual senior session, and take gorgeous photos of YOU! Some shoots are themed or based on the season we are in. We usually go to the corn maze in the fall and this year we even made a trip out to Palo Duro Canyon for some cute destination photos.
I am so pumped you are considering applying for Team Twenty Three! So here are the dates with all the things you need to know to apply. I will also be posting on the Meuse Photo Instagram a place you can ask all the questions you might have about the team!
This has been a whirlwind of a summer. I got to shoot some couples in Montana, Yellowstone, and Oregon. But now, it is finally time to introduce my 2022 Senior Team! We finally had our first senior team photoshoot and it was so much fun. Every year I like to make a cool photoshoot backdrop to introduce my new team. The first year I got my inspiration from a window design Anthropologie had done. I got strips of plastic table cloth and strung them through plastic fencing. I loved this backdrop and rolled it right up to store it for the next few years.
Last year for my 2021 Senior Team I decided to make a balloon wall however, it turned out to be a balloon cave. Quite literally. I blew up hundreds of balloons. It was by far the most colorful backdrop I have made. I decided I would probably steer clear of this kind of backdrop in the future because of how the balloons destroyed my hands after tying hundreds of them! I was worried the backdrop would only stay up for a few days and all the balloons would deflate. But this backdrop stayed up for about a month! So if you don’t mind destroying your hands a little, 10 out of 10 reccommend.
This year for Team22 I decided I wanted to go opposite of the last year and focus more on a black and white backdrop. I finally decided on two backdrops.
The first is a newspaper backdrop I have seen on TikTok many times. And my team was literal fire for this shoot. For the second photoshoot backdrop I bought a canvas drop cloth from Lowes, and hung some rust and deep yellow fabric up draped across it. Then topped it off with some pampas grass in a vase. Mostly because I could not go a full shoot without SOME color! I got to know my team better and got some fire shots. Check out some of the images we got that day!
Montana is breathtaking. The saying the grass is always greener on the other side, is actually true in Montana. I mean, I am from West Texas where most things are usually brown and very flat. Seeing so many vibrant colors of green never gets old. You could pull off on the side of the road anywhere in this area and photograph a gorgeous landscape. But these dreamy sunset couples photos were not just taken anywhere. Foster Creek Farm is the perfect venue for your engagement sessions, wedding, and sunset photos.
I mean who wouldn’t. First, I drive up to the venue and I am in awe. Not only do you have the beautiful green rolling hills, but when you go up that hill, there is a little surprise. By little I mean a gorgeous mountain backdrop. So not exactly little. I could not wait to get out of the car and start snapping these sunset photos. Secondly, Foster Creek Farm has a gorgeous and luxurious farmhouse. The beautiful white wood and tall windows made the perfect backdrop for the head table. Lastly, they have the cutest canvas tents that can be used for the bridal party as they prepare for the day.
Most importantly, dreamy sunset couples photos are not complete without a gorgeous couple. It was so much fun to capture these memories for Aleisha and Will. Shotgunning a few beers, running through grass fields, and laughing a whole lot. I just love a fun adventurous couple because they always know how to have a good time.

Nothing says wild and free like an adventurous waterfall engagement session. This was one for the books. This shoot was so much fun with Chantell and John. We all laughed, slipped around in the mud, took some gorgeous photos and I learned a lot. 10 out of 10 would recommend having an adventure engagement photoshoot.
Zach and Ashton are one of those couples when you meet them and get to see their interaction you assume they’ve known each other forever. As they interact you can see the admiration, love and respect they share. Their love is the sweetest thing to be able to watch. Zach and Ashton had a gorgeous Lubbock, Texas Wedding with a perfect venue and a hope for perfect weather. For Lubbock, Texas perfect weather can be surprising. with the forecast showing rain and dark clouds all day I though to prepare for the worst. However, it was a beautiful surprise to drive up to the Macalester House wedding venue on a rare perfect day. Nothing but gorgeous sunlight, a few clouds, and a slight breeze. Perfect weather for a perfect day.
As I walked into the venue there were people fluttering in and out. All full of excitement and anticipation of the day to come. The bride to be, laughing with her maid of honor as she put final touches on her makeup. The groom ready and dressed already prepared to see his bride. Everafter Weddings placing all the final details around the room. I stepped out to the ceremony site to see billowing fabric wrapped around the trees blowing in the breeze and beautiful hand calligraphy signs leading up the aisle. All leading to the union of this precious couple.
Above all, there was no shortage of laughter through the day. From the surprise first look with Zach and one of his groomsmen, to Zach’s father stealing the show on the dance floor. So much love, joy, and laughter radiated through every person who came to celebrate Zach and Ashton. What an honor to be able to capture the love they shared on their wedding day.
Thanks to Macalester House wedding venue, Abby with Everafter Weddings and all who made this day so special for the bride and groom.
