What is the Meuse Photo Senior Team?

Team Twenty Three Perks

• Invite to all Team Twenty Three group shoots throughout your senior year including the cap & gown shoot in the Spring
• First dibs on senior session dates in the fall

Senior Team Twenty Three Requirements

• You need to be in the class of 2023 (in high school)
• Share photos on social media from all shoots you are able to attend. I mean it’s not official until its on social media right? But really I just love when you fall in love with your photos and get to share them with the world.
• Be active with events, shoots, and other activities Meuse Photo does. Those who participate will get the most out of the program. School, sports, and family of course come first!! Life can get busy and I totally get that. You can come to as many shoots as you are able.
• Be a team player! I love a team who will hang out at group sessions hyping each other up while I am shooting with them. AKA just be kind to everyone on the team.
• Use Meuse Photo for your senior portraits. I definitely don’t mind if you are taking photos with other people because sometimes we have that aunt or grandpa who has always envisioned taking your senior photos. As long as you are still posting and hyping my business up along the way. You are not able to participate in other senior model/rep programs put on by other photographers while you are on the Meuse Photo Team!
• Purchase a senior team package. I will have several packages you can choose from! I will send out the brochure straight to your email so you can see everything each package comes with.

OKAAAA,,, the senior team sounds amazing. How do I sign up?

I am so pumped you are considering applying for Team Twenty Three! So here are the dates with all the things you need to know to apply. I will also be posting on the Meuse Photo Instagram a place you can ask all the questions you might have about the team!

• March 24th-31st: Sign up for the VIP list by filling out the contact me form on my website. This is not the application itself (that comes a little later). I will send you info on the team as well as the brochure with all the pricing so you know exactly what you are getting! You can also go ahead and select which package you are looking at investing in!
• Make sure you are following me on social media. I post different things to each and would love if you followed along to both to see any updates, tips, or announcements about Team Twenty Three.
• April 1st: APPLICATIONS GO OUT! Check your email, because you will receive an application to fill out and return. This application is basically there so I can get to know you and learn why you want to join my team.
• NOWWWW, go invite your friends to apply. Because what is better than a year full of fun and gorgeous photos? Doing all that with your BFF.
• April 30th: Applications for Team Twenty Three will close. This is your last day to submit your application.
• May 1st: All final decisions on who will be accepted into Team Twenty Three will be made and those who are invited to join the team will be notified via email.
• Check out all my latest work with previous teams and seniors here!!
• May 5th: Last day for those invited to join the team to accept their invite to join!
• May 6th: Pay $100 deposit that will go toward your senior session package.
• And finally, May 8th: Announce Team Twenty Three on social media! Time to celebrate!!!!!

Montana is breathtaking. The saying the grass is always greener on the other side, is actually true in Montana. I mean, I am from West Texas where most things are usually brown and very flat. Seeing so many vibrant colors of green never gets old. You could pull off on the side of the road anywhere in this area and photograph a gorgeous landscape. But these dreamy sunset couples photos were not just taken anywhere. Foster Creek Farm is the perfect venue for your engagement sessions, wedding, and sunset photos.

I fell in love with this venue, especially for dreamy sunset photos

I mean who wouldn’t. First, I drive up to the venue and I am in awe. Not only do you have the beautiful green rolling hills, but when you go up that hill, there is a little surprise. By little I mean a gorgeous mountain backdrop. So not exactly little. I could not wait to get out of the car and start snapping these sunset photos. Secondly, Foster Creek Farm has a gorgeous and luxurious farmhouse. The beautiful white wood and tall windows made the perfect backdrop for the head table. Lastly, they have the cutest canvas tents that can be used for the bridal party as they prepare for the day.

Most importantly, dreamy sunset couples photos are not complete without a gorgeous couple. It was so much fun to capture these memories for Aleisha and Will. Shotgunning a few beers, running through grass fields, and laughing a whole lot. I just love a fun adventurous couple because they always know how to have a good time.

Nothing says wild and free like an adventurous waterfall engagement session. This was one for the books. This shoot was so much fun with Chantell and John. We all laughed, slipped around in the mud, took some gorgeous photos and I learned a lot. 10 out of 10 would recommend having an adventure engagement photoshoot.

Tips for your adventurous waterfall engagement session

1. Visit the location before you go there to shoot. It is so helpful to know the area, especially if you are planning on hiking to the waterfall.
2. Bring the appropriate shoes!!! This one is important, if you are hiking a long distance to the waterfall be sure to wear shoes that are comfortable to walk in. If you need to, you can bring another pair to change into for the shoot.
3. Everything gets wet. And I mean everything. If it is a big waterfall the closer you get to it the more mist there is surrounding it. This can make for some pretty epic shots if you have the sunlight coming through the mist. By the end of the shoot all my cloths were soaked. After that, it is hard to keep your lens dry.
4. The ground can be super muddy. At this waterfall shoot we were standing in like 5 inches of mud the whole shoot! I almost face planted a few times if i’m being honest!
5. Take wide shots first farther away from the waterfall before you become soaked from the mist. Sometimes it is tempting to go straight into the water. But I like to get a variety of photos before I dive into the deep end.
6. Check the weather and national park info for all updated warnings or notifications.
7. Most importantly, just have fun! You slip and fall in the mud, it’s the perfect opportunity for candid shots. If it is safe, jump into the water with the waterfall in the background. Nothing says romantic photos more than a close up shot with wet hair. But make sure you are safe, sometimes the photo is not worth the risk.

Zach and Ashton are one of those couples when you meet them and get to see their interaction you assume they’ve known each other forever. As they interact you can see the admiration, love and respect they share. Their love is the sweetest thing to be able to watch. Zach and Ashton had a gorgeous Lubbock, Texas Wedding with a perfect venue and a hope for perfect weather. For Lubbock, Texas perfect weather can be surprising. with the forecast showing rain and dark clouds all day I though to prepare for the worst. However, it was a beautiful surprise to drive up to the Macalester House wedding venue on a rare perfect day. Nothing but gorgeous sunlight, a few clouds, and a slight breeze. Perfect weather for a perfect day.

So the wedding day begins…

As I walked into the venue there were people fluttering in and out. All full of excitement and anticipation of the day to come. The bride to be, laughing with her maid of honor as she put final touches on her makeup. The groom ready and dressed already prepared to see his bride. Everafter Weddings placing all the final details around the room. I stepped out to the ceremony site to see billowing fabric wrapped around the trees blowing in the breeze and beautiful hand calligraphy signs leading up the aisle. All leading to the union of this precious couple.

Above all, there was no shortage of laughter through the day. From the surprise first look with Zach and one of his groomsmen, to Zach’s father stealing the show on the dance floor. So much love, joy, and laughter radiated through every person who came to celebrate Zach and Ashton. What an honor to be able to capture the love they shared on their wedding day.
